Bengaluru, Aug. 26 -- India's ambition to build a USD 50 billion medical-devices sector by 2030 and Israel's growing HealthTech ecosystem of around 1,800 companies are opening significant opportunities for deeper collaboration in medical technology, digital health, biotechnology and AI-driven healthcare, a senior Israeli Consulate official said on Wednesday.
Speaking at the Indo-Israel Health Sprint 2026 here, Shilpa Baburaj of the Consulate General of Israel to South India said the complementary strengths of the two healthcare ecosystems could help convert promising innovations into scalable solutions for patients and healthcare systems.
