Chennai, April 14 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin on Tuesday said India's strength lies in its pluralism and not in imposed uniformity.

In a post on X after garlanding the statue of the architect of Indian Consitution B R Ambedkar's statue and paying floral tributes to his decorated portrait on his birth anniversary, he said.

if progress was the measure, then people should reject uniformity and hierarchy, choose pluraslim and equality and up hold judtice.

To drive home his point, Mr Stalin also cited Dr Ambedkar's message that the progress of a community was measured by the degree of progress which women have achieved.
