Los Angeles, Feb. 12 -- A new marketplace dedicated to adapting French scripted content for Asian audiences will debut at Mumbai's Red Lorry Film Festival.

The French IP Market aims to connect French rights holders with buyers from India and Southeast Asia seeking to develop localized versions of film, television, animation and digital properties, Variety reports.

Backed by France's Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Institut francais, the initiative will focus on in-person engagement through curated pitches, one-on-one meetings and case studies spotlighting successful adaptations. The model is designed to encourage direct conversations between sellers and regional buyers.
