Bengaluru, July 23 -- Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Thursday threw his weight behind the nationwide protests over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 question paper leak, declaring that the agitation was "about the future of India" and not merely an outcry over an entrance examination.
Describing the issue as one that transcended politics, Shivakumar said the controversy had shaken the confidence of lakhs of students and their families and raised serious questions about the credibility of the country's examination system.
