Chennai, July 3 -- India's first privately developed orbital-class rocket Vikram-1, the first test flight named "Mission Aagaman",is all set for its maiden launch from the spaceport of Srharikota in Andhra Pradesh, about 100 km from here. .
The mission would herald opening up the era of private orbital launches in India's stupendous space journey.
The rocket was developed by the Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace which announced that the launch window was available between July 12 and August four.
The rocket, which was fully stacked in the First Launch Pad at the SDSC Centre, SHAR, would be launched into a 450 km Low Earth Orbit with an inclination of 60 degrees.
