Bengaluru, Aug. 1 -- India is set to emerge as the biggest destination for Japanese capital over the next decade, with investments increasingly flowing into financial services, technology and startups, while the country's booming systematic investment plan (SIP) culture has fundamentally reshaped the equity market by creating a strong domestic buffer against foreign capital outflows, AMFI Chairman and Nippon Life India Asset Management MD & CEO Sandeep Sikka said on Saturday.
Speaking at an interaction at the IIMBues Leadership Conclave 2026 presented by 360NE, Sikka said Japan's vast savings pool and India's sustained economic growth made the two economies natural partners for long-term investment.
