New Delhi, March 5 -- India and Finland have renewed their agreement on environmental cooperation, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change said on Thursday.

Environment Ministers Bhupender Yadav and Sari Multala met in New Delhi to extend the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) first signed in 2020.

The renewed pact allows both countries to exchange knowledge and technology in areas such as waste management, forestry, pollution control, circular economy, and sustainable use of marine and coastal resources.
