New Delhi, Aug. 11 -- India is closely examining the strategic and national security implications of the recently signed Mecca Joint Defence Agreement between Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and Pakistan, even as New Delhi voiced concern over the deteriorating security environment in West Asia and alleged human rights violations in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said on Tuesday that India is closely monitoring developments in West Asia and would take all necessary measures to protect its national interests and contribute to regional peace and stability.
