Harare, July 25 -- India continued to redefine the limits of T20 batting, equalling their own world record for the most 200-plus totals in a calendar year after piling up 219 for five against Zimbabwe in the second T20 International here on Saturday.

The total was India's ninth 200-plus score in 2026, matching the benchmark they had set in 2024. No other team has managed more than seven 200-plus totals in a calendar year, with India also achieving that feat in 2023. Japan (2024) and Austria (2025) have seven each, while England, South Africa (both 2022) and West Indies (2024) have recorded six.
