New Delhi, Nov. 1 -- Amid the elaborate security arrangements put in place by the Delhi Police, the INDIA bloc rally held at the Ramlila Maidan went off peacefully, with senior cops on the ground continuously monitoring the situation.
According to a senior police official, the arrangements in place were effective.
Additional personnel from the Central Armed Police Force were also deployed for security arrangements, that were multiple layered, to ensure peace and safety.
Continuous surveillance using drones, over 200 hi- tech CCTV cameras, was maintained by the police to ensure that no untoward incident is triggered by bad elements, who usually try to disturb peace at such large gatherings.
