New Delhi/ Shillong, Nov. 17 -- India-based Rights and Risks Analysis Group (RRAG) has termed the convictions of ousted Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former police chief Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun by a special tribunal in Dhaka as a "political farce" and a "miscarriage of justice for the victims".

Hasina, who is in exile in India, was sentenced to death after finding her guilty of "crimes against humanity" by the Bangladesh's International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) that she established in 2010 to try war crimes committed during Bangladesh's 1971 liberation war.
