New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- India and Belgium today called for deeper defence industrial cooperation, with both sides emphasising co-development and co-production as a means to strengthen their armed forces and build capabilities for emerging security challenges.
Belgian Minister of Defence and Foreign Trade Theo Francken highlighted the significant scope for expanding industrial collaboration with India, while Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth urged Belgian defence companies to combine their technological strengths with India's manufacturing capabilities to develop niche defence products.
