Varanasi, Oct. 2 -- The indefinite dharna by the BHU unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) continued for the tenth day on Friday, raising 10-point demands related to student safety, campus management, and other basic issues at Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

Protesting against the "lack of concrete action" on their demands, ABVP workers staged a symbolic corpse demonstration near the Vishwanath Temple complex. The workers symbolically lay down as corpses to register their protest against the university administration.
