Patna/ Chapra, Jan. 21 -- Reiterating his government's agenda of enhancing farmers' income, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Wednesday that special focus would be on the theme of "Agricultural Progress, State Prosperity" under the Saat Nishchay part-time III programme.

After reviewing ongoing development works in Saran district with officials during his Samriddhi Yatra, the Chief Minister said that the Saat Nishchay part - III initiatives have been implemented with the objective of placing Bihar among the country's most developed states. He noted that one of the core pillars of the programme focuses on agricultural advancement as a pathway to overall prosperity.
