Rampur, Feb. 27 -- The Income Tax Department on Thursday carried out raids at multiple premises linked to Naeem Khan alias Bablu, the relative of former Samajwadi Party MP Dr ST Hasan. Officials arrived around 10 am in nearly 12 vehicles and began simultaneous searches at factories and residential properties associated with Khan.
The raids were conducted at two furniture manufacturing units operating under the name MN Industries in Bagi village under the Kotwali area. The two factories, located approximately 500 meters apart, are run in partnership. Security personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were deployed at the factory gates, which were locked during the operation.
