Puducherry, April 13 -- In an act of Uxoricide, a 23-year-old mechanic murdered his wife over a trivial issue, for refusing to stop chatting on her mobile phone as demanded by him in Puducherry on Monday.
Police said one Elumalai of Marakkanam fell in love with Swetha (19) of Moolakulam and they got married three years back.
They were living in a rented house at Jeevanandapuram here. Of late,Elumalai noticed that Swetha is always chatting on her mobile phone, grew suspicious and her to stop chatting.
However, she did not agree to his request and continued with her chatting.
