Pune, Sept. 10 -- With the festival of Pola approaching, several parts of Maharashtra are facing a rainfall deficit, raising concerns among farmers over the emerging drought-like situation.
Farmers who have already incurred significant expenditure on sowing are facing difficulties due to inadequate rainfall, and the government needs to take both immediate and long-term measures to address the situation, India Against Corruption ( IAC) national president Hemant Patil said on Thursday.
