Islamabad, Feb. 28 -- A review mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is set to meet representatives of the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) in Karachi as part of the money lender's ongoing consultations regarding Islamabad's economic policies, and their expectations for the 2026-27 federal budget.
The IMF's engagement with the PBC comes amid mounting domestic pressure on Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb to secure greater flexibility from the global money lender.
