Panchkula, July 18 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast an active monsoon spell across large parts of north, central and eastern India over the next six days, with heavy to very heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds expected in several states till July 23.
According to the All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued by the National Weather Forecasting Centre at 8:36 am IST on Saturday, widespread rainfall is likely across several regions, prompting the IMD to issue heavy rainfall warnings for parts of northwest, central and eastern India.
