Panchkula, Oct. 8 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts thunderstorms crackling with lightning and gusty winds of 40-50 kmph, surging up to 60 kmph in some parts of Punjab.
Rain is set to sweep across Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi from October 8 to 14.
According to the IMD's morning bulletin, thunderstorms with lightning are likely at isolated locations in Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on October 8. Punjab is expected to see additional thunderstorms with winds of 30-40 kmph, gusting to 50 kmph, on October 9 and 10.
The department anticipates brief showers over Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on October 8, with more widespread rain on October 9, then a return to lighter showers from October 10 to 14.
