Panchkula, July 21 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast widespread rainfall across several parts of North India over the next few days, with Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh likely to experience rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds.
According to the All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued on Tuesday morning, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall is likely over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad during July 21-24, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during July 21-26, East Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab during July 21-23, West Uttar Pradesh during July 21-24, and East Rajasthan during July 23-26.
