Panchkula, July 15 -- Rainfall activity is expected to become more widespread across northwest India later this week, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab during July 19-20, along with isolated heavy rainfall over the region.

According to the All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued by the IMD on Wednesday morning, isolated to scattered rainfall is likely over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab during July 15-18, while rainfall activity is expected to become fairly widespread to widespread during July 19-20.
