Amaravati, Sept. 26 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall at isolated places across Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema over the next seven days, from September 26 to October 2.
Strong surface winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph, with gusts up to 50 kmph, are likely at isolated places across Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema on September 26 and 27, according to the IMD's weather bulletin issued on Saturday.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely at isolated places in Rayalaseema from September 28 to 30, along with strong winds of 30-40 kmph at isolated places in the state's coastal and Rayalaseema regions.
