Panchkula, Aug. 25 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy-rain warning for Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi for August 25, but no weather warning has been issued for the subdivision for the subsequent six days through August 31.

Punjab, meanwhile, carries no heavy-rain warning for any day from August 25 to 31, according to the IMD's subdivision-wise warning issued on Tuesday.

The latest subdivision-wise warning lists "Heavy Rain" for Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on August 25, followed by "No warning" on August 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31. For Punjab, the IMD has listed "No warning" during the seven-day period.
