Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 14 -- ANEC (Animals and Nature Ethics Community), a registered forest conservation organization, has issued a stern legal notice to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), the Kerala Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, and the Chief Wildlife Warden, alleging serious violations of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980.
The notice highlights the construction and upgradation of the Maniyarankudi-Udumbannur Road under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) within the Nagarampara and Velloor Reserve Forests in Idukki district.
