Bokaro, June 20 -- Police busted an illegal mini gun factory in Bokaro district of Jharkhand from where weapons were being supplied to Bangladesh via West Bengal, police said Friday.

Two people were arrested in a joint operation at JhariDeeh Bazar by Bokaro, Kolkata, and Ranchi police.



Bokaro Superintendent of Police Harvinder Singh said a large quantity of illegal foreign liquor was also seized.



The police had earlier busted a similar factory in Mahuda, Dhanbad district.



According to the police, the factory manufactured weapons that were supplied to Bangladesh via West Bengal. Further raids are being conducted at other locations in connection with the case.
