Midnapore, Oct. 11 -- IIT Kharagpur will spearhead regional coordination of the West Bengal government's Seva First Innovation Challenge, aimed at encouraging students, researchers and young innovators to develop practical, technology-driven solutions to pressing social and developmental challenges.
Designated the zonal coordinator under the Seva Sankalp Maha Abhiyan, the institute will collaborate with district administrations and educational institutions to expand participation and promote innovation across sectors such as agriculture, water management, climate and disaster resilience, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and semiconductor technologies.
