Dhanbad, April 8 -- Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad on Wednesday said it is conducting IT training and end-semester evaluation for tribal students from multiple residential schools in Jharkhand as part of a capacity-building programme.

According to an official release, the training and assessment are being held from April 8 to April 10 and involve students of Classes X, XI and XII from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), including Kathijoria, Tasaria, Basia, Torsinduri, Salgadih and Kujra.

The programme, supported by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, aims to build basic and advanced IT and computer skillsamong tribal students and enhance their readiness for higher education and employment.
