Hyderabad, April 10 -- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Friday between Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad and Sammakka Sarakka Central Tribal University (SSCTU), Mulugu district, in the presence of union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy and former DRDO Chairman G Satheesh Reddy.

The agreement was signed by IIT Hyderabad Director Prof. B.S. Murty and SSCTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Y.L. Srinivas.

Under the MoU, both institutions will collaborate to design new curricula in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) and strengthen institutional capacity through faculty training and mentorship.
