Bengaluru, Aug. 1 -- In a landmark expansion that redefines its role beyond postgraduate management education, the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) on Saturday announced the launch of its first-ever undergraduate school and an overseas campus in Indonesia, signalling its ambition to emerge as a global institution with a broader nation-building mission.
Addressing the IMMBue IIIMBAA Leadership Conclave 2026, IIMB Director Incharge Prof Dinesh Kumar said the institute would, for the first time in its history, admit 17-year-old students through the newly established Gorur Ratan Tata School of Undergraduate Studies, made possible by a substantial grant from Tata Trusts.
