Srinagar, June 8 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V K Birdi, on Monday reviewed security and logistical arrangements for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the annual Amarnath Yatra and Muharram observances across the Kashmir Valley, directing officers to maintain heightened vigilance and ensure close coordination among all agencies.

The review meeting was attended by Range DIGs, district SSPs, SSP PCR Kashmir and other senior police officers.
