Nagpur, July 25 -- : Akanksha's mother, Neelam Chaturvedi, said that if union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's daughter can study abroad, then there should at least be an education system that ensures daughters from ordinary families and small towns across India get equal opportunities to pursue higher education.
Referring to union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, she said that if his daughter could study abroad, girls from common families like theirs should at least be able to pursue quality education in India.
Neelam Chaturvedi also expressed disappointment over the government's alleged apathy, claiming that no official had even made a basic inquiry about the family in the two months since her daughter's death.
