Bhubaneswar, July 21 -- Highlighting the growing partnership between India and Sri Lanka in fisheries and aquaculture, the ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (ICAR-CIFA)-Bhubaneswar hosted a two-week capacity-building programme for officials from Sri Lanka's National Aquaculture Development Authority (NAQDA) to strengthen technical cooperation and knowledge exchange.
The international training programme on "Basics of Fish Farming in Freshwater Systems" was organised by ICAR-CIFA from July 6 to 19 for aquaculturists and assistant aquaculturists from the National Aquaculture Development Authority (NAQDA), Sri Lanka.
