Moscow, May 31 -- Experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have inspected damage at Unit 6 of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant following a reported Ukrainian drone strike on May 30, Russia's envoy to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said on Sunday.
Ulyanov said on X that IAEA personnel were examining damage allegedly caused by a drone strike, and shared images from the site.
Russia's state nuclear corporation Rosatom said a combat drone hit the turbine hall of Unit 6 and detonated, though it reported no casualties or critical damage to key equipment.
