Vienna/AbuDhabi, May 17 -- IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi has expressed concern over the drone strike at the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in UAE, warning that any military activity posing risks to nuclear facilities was "unacceptable".

International Atomic Energy Agency said on Sunday that radiation levels remained normal at the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant after a drone strike triggered a fire in an electrical generator outside the facility's inner perimeter.

The UN nuclear watchdog said it had been informed by authorities in the United Arab Emirates that no injuries were reported in the incident and that emergency diesel generators were supplying power to Unit 3 of the plant.
