New Delhi, May 12 -- Bhuvaneshwar Kumar's impressive showing in IPL 2026 has reignited talks of a possible comeback to India's scheme of things, particularly in the shortest format. However, the veteran pacer says he no longer thinks about returning to the national side and has stopped setting long-term goals after learning from past disappointments.
The 36-year-old swing bowler has been one of Royal Challengers Bengaluru's standout performers this season, picking up 21 wickets so far. Despite the growing calls from former cricketers and experts for his return to the Indian team, Bhuvneshwar said the discussions do not occupy his mind anymore.
