Chennai, May 1 -- Passenger car makers Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) on Friday announced that it has achieved the highest ever domestic sales of 51,902 units in April, reporting a healthy year-on-year growth of 17 per cent.
This was company's highest ever tally for domestic sales for the month of April since inception.
HMIL also achieved monthly export sales of 13,708 units in April 2026, a company statement said.
Commenting on the results, Company MD and CEO Tarun Garg said "We have opened the new financial year on a strong note, carrying forward the momentum built in recent months into April 2026.
