Hyderabad, March 5 -- Telangana Sports, Youth Services, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister Vakiti Srihari on Thursday announced that Hyderabad will host the Women's Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournament at the Gachibowli Hockey Stadium from March 8 to 14.
Addressing a press conference at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium, the minister said the city, already recognised as a global hub, is set to host another prestigious international sporting event.
He said all arrangements have been completed by the Telangana Sports Department for the tournament, which will be held at the Gachibowli Hockey Stadium.
