Hyderabad, July 21 -- Hyderabad has emerged as India's safest metro for driving behaviour, securing the highest SmartDrive score of 93 among metropolitan cities in the India Road Safety Report (IRSR) 2026 released by Zuno General Insurance.
The report is based on an analysis of over 4.5 million trips covering 55 million kilometres and driving data from more than 27,000 users across 17 states.
The report, which uses smartphone-based telematics technology, assessed real-world driving behaviour across parameters including over-speeding, sudden braking, harsh acceleration, cornering and distracted driving.
