Hyderabad, Sept. 25 -- Hyderabad City Police Commissioner and Additional District Magistrate (Executive) V C Sajjanar on Friday announced extensive traffic restrictions and diversions in view of the Vinayaka idol immersion procession in the city.
The restrictions, issued under Section 21(1)(b) of the Hyderabad City Police Act, will remain in force from 0600 hrs on September 25 to 1000 hrs on September 26, subject to extension depending on the situation.
The main procession will commence from Balapur Vinayaka Mandapam and pass through Chandrayangutta Flyover, Falaknuma, Aliabad, Charminar, Madina, Afzalgunj, Maharaj Gunj Market, Abids, Bashirbagh and Liberty before proceeding towards NTR Marg and PVNR Marg (Necklace Road). Processions from...
