Hyderabad, Jan. 13 -- The Hyderabad City Police's Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) has apprehended and deported a Nigerian national, Obasi James Victor (38), to his native country to prevent him from indulging in activities deemed detrimental to national security.
According to police, Victor entered India on a tourist visa in 2011 and later settled in Delhi. His passport and visa had expired and he was allegedly staying illegally in the country.
Police said he was found moving suspiciously within Tolichowki police station limits and failed to produce valid documents during questioning. He reportedly admitted to overstaying and associating with drug peddlers.
