Hyderabad, Aug. 22 -- At least two people were killed and another injured after a G 6 under-construction building collapsed at Anjaiah Nagar in Gachibowli here on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The building collapsed around 1 pm, impacting an adjoining structure and trapping persons under the debris, the Telangana Fire and Disaster Response Department said.
The deceased were suspected to be workers at the construction site, while the injured person was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
On receiving information, Fire and Disaster Response personnel rushed to the spot with specialised rescue equipment and launched search and rescue operations, the department said in a release here.
