Hyderabad, June 29 -- South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava on Monday reviewed safety measures across the zone and stressed the need for enhanced preparedness to ensure safe train operations during the ensuing monsoon season.
Chairing a safety review meeting at Rail Nilayam here, the General Manager also presented the "Employee of the Month" Safety Awards to five railway employees in recognition of their alertness and dedication in preventing unsafe conditions.
Principal Heads of Departments and Divisional Railway Managers of Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded divisions participated in the meeting through video conferencing, SCR said in a release here.
