Hyderabad, Aug. 15 -- BJP Rajya Sabha MP and National President of the BJP OBC Morcha K. Laxman on Saturday accused Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi of indulging in "cheap politics" and obstructing development-oriented initiatives in Parliament.
Addressing a media conference at the BJP State office here, Laxman alleged that Rahul Gandhi was resorting to personal attacks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP out of frustration over the Prime Minister's growing international stature.
He claimed that while Modi was strengthening India's diplomatic relations and enhancing the country's global standing, Rahul Gandhi was indulging in what he termed "low-level politics" and public theatrics.
