Hyderabad, March 16 -- union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Monday criticised the walkout by MLAs of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) during the singing of Vande Mataram in the Assembly, terming the act "shameful".
In a post on X (social media platform), Sanjay said the walkout during the rendition of the national song amounted to a direct insult to India's national symbols and to Bharat Mata.
He questioned why the party shows opposition towards national symbols and said the incident has exposed the "true colours" of the Majlis.
