Hyderabad, June 4 -- A seven-year-old boy who suffered life-threatening injuries after being attacked by a pack of stray dogs has made a remarkable recovery and was discharged from Kamineni Hospitals on Thursday following weeks of intensive critical care, reconstructive surgeries and rehabilitation.
The child, identified as Advik, was rushed to the hospital after being mauled by five to six stray dogs, the Hospitals said in a release here.
The attack left him with devastating injuries, including extensive scalp avulsion, multiple deep bite wounds across his body, severe soft-tissue loss in his limbs and massive blood loss.
Doctors said the boy was brought to the Emergency Department in a critical condition.
