Hyderabad, June 6 -- The Drugs Control Administration (DCA), Telangana, has busted alleged unauthorized sale of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) during joint raids conducted with the Prohibition and Excise Department at Prashanthi Nagar, Kukatpally, in the city.
The raid was carried out at premises operating under the name Synix Labs, located in NCS Complex, Prashanthi Nagar Industrial Estate, Medchal-Malkajgiri district, where the unlicensed sale of APIs was detected in violation of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, the Drugs Control Administration said in a release on Saturday.
Seized a stock of the antiviral drug Zidovudine weighing 170 grams from the premises, along with purchase and sale invoices related to APIs.
