Panchkula, Aug. 27 -- A Nuh court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for the murder of his pregnant wife in 2018 and imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on him, bringing the eight-year-old case to a conclusion.
The court of Additional Sessions Judge Sandeep Chauhan convicted Rajpal for killing his wife, Aarti, in village Padhaini under the jurisdiction of Sadar Taoru police station.
According to a police spokesperson, the court also ordered that in case the convict fails to pay the Rs 50,000 fine, he will undergo an additional six months of simple imprisonment.
