Florida, Oct. 10 -- Hurricane Isaias weakened into a post-tropical cyclone on Saturday after making landfall on Florida's Gulf Coast, but damaging winds and the threat of flash flooding continued as the storm moved inland across the southeastern United States.

More than 770,000 people in Florida, Alabama and Georgia were without electricity, according to PowerOutage.us. Florida accounted for about 425,000 outages, followed by 304,000 in Alabama and 46,000 in Georgia, CNN reported.
