Budapest, Aug. 28 -- Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has refuted reports of agreeing on Ukraine's EU membership after US pressureHungary will not support Ukraine's accession to the European Union, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said , rejecting claims that Washington had convinced Budapest to alter its stance on the issue.

As per Politico, anonymous officials have suggested that US President Donald Trump had managed to succeed in persuading Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to reconsider his long-standing opposition to Kyiv's membership.
